Anime Review: Guilty Crown

Wow. If I had to describe this anime in one word, the word is EPIC. The story is filled with psychological plots on how it all started. Then as the show goes on, more and more is revealed on what really occurred on that fateful day, the reason everything happened.

It takes place on a futuristic era, set on 2039. Humanity had encountered a strange virus that crystallizes a person. In 2029, when the virus spread throughout Japan, a multinational corporation called GHQ helped Japan and was paid back by their freedom.  The story is about a 17-year old guy, Shu Ouma, who gained the "Power of the Kings." Shu was a normal High school student until he met Inori Yuzuriha, a girl from a band named EGOIST, and was a member of a rebel group. He falls for her and reluctantly joins the rebellious group who call themselves "Undertakers" or "Funeral Parlor."

The "Power of Kings" gives Shu an incredible ability. To draw out people's hearts as a weapon. They are called voids. Human heart that takes shape into the person's fear or personality. And Shu has the ability to draw it out and use it.

Manga Review: Aki Sora (Rated +17) + (SPOILERS)

Aki lives a wonderful life. She's got the beauty, intelligence, sports skills and popularity. Although, that changes when she's at home. She's very lazy and untidy leading her little brother, Sora, to clean it. Plus, Sora's twin sister Nami, is madly inlove with her best friend Kana, but doesn't admit it.

Bullied by Nami and often teased by Aki, Sora is left to do chores their mom has to do. But, where's their mom? She's busy with work like most moms. I'll add more, Sora actually harbors lustful feelings for his big sister Aki, who feels the same. It's an adventure and they have to work hard in order to keep these feelings from being discovered by their parents.

OKAY STOP. Let's take a break here and read my opinion. I saw this manga when I was looking for something ecchi-ish to read, but I didn't think it was this strong. Sex is shown throughout the whole story, but no showing of genitals to be safe.

STORY + OPINION: 10/10
The story is about two siblings having deep love for each other to the point that they actually committed incest. But doing it once didn't satisfy them, as they did it many more times and stopped when they were caught by somebody they know. I'll be hiding that character for now and will reveal it later.

Anime Review: Infinite Stratos

First impression, mechs battling each other. Reality, HAREM. Don't expect long mecha battle scenes guys. The anime is clearly a Mecha Harem, with Harem overpowering. The protagonist will be surrounded by four beautiful girls as they try to make him fall in love with them.

The anime aired from January up to March of 2011 and finished with 12 episodes plus one OVA.

Set in the future, war between men and women wouldn't last more than three days. Women had been superior to the men, as they are able to pilot the powered exoskeleton called IS or Infinite Stratos, made by Dr. Tabane Shinonono.

Then, military offices were hacked and missiles launched as soon as Dr. Tabane showed the entire world her life-changing invention. Unexpectedly, an IS appears, piloted by an unknown woman who had stopped all the missiles and disappeared like it never happened.

Anime Review: Another (SPOILER ALERT)

Breaking away from all the funny things and harem, my cousin offered me to watch this anime called "Another". Curious, I told him to make a copy on my flash drive as I'm gonna watch it. Fortunately, it didn't take much space. But there was something else. He told me to watch it at night.

I was very impressed with the art. It had well-drawn characters and the best CGI rendering yet. The anime was just published recently, it started in January and ended in March. All in all, it has twelve episodes and has an OVA currently in production. And so, yes. I watched it at night. I started at six sharp in the evening and finished it all at twelve.

The anime will make you use your brains as it will test how much you can do as a detective. The plot is very complex, as it was always present during the anime. As I told you, I broke away from the harem and funny scenes to much more dark ones like this. Oh, by the way, it's also gore.

Anime Review: Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai!

Good evening! Hello again, this time I'm reviewing yet another harem! Well, it's kinda toned down as the guy is 17 years old and the girls are 14. The title is Ore no Imōto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai! or MY LITTLE SISTER CAN'T BE THIS CUTE! Lengthy title if you ask me, so I just call it OreImo or My Sister.

I found this anime while browsing at a blog. It's a relatively good anime, something everyone can relate to. Even if you don't have a sister or the opposite. An incest anime without the sex and the love is replaced by a brother-sister love.

It's centered around the distant relationship of the "Super Average" 17-year-old Kyosuke Kousaka and his 14-year-old beautiful, Otaku, perverted and  "tsundere" sister, Kirino Kousaka, and how they try to know each other despite not communicating for many years even though they're at the same place. The only communication they go through is "Tadaima!" or "I'm home!" in English.

Local News: Tulfo brothers react to the brawl and apologizes

MONDAY-The Tulfo brothers' daily program had aired and after their local interventions, they finally spoke to the media about the Raymart-Tulfo Brawl that happened the day before. They got as far as threatening the Showbiz couple on National TV.

Raffy Tulfo was up first and started the threat. He stated, "Raymart, you're lucky. You're lucky you had companions. But even if you ganged up on him, I'm very proud of him as he was able to push one down. Cause, if you had faced my brother one-on-one, your butt may be at your mouth right now. He's an Aikido expert."

"Please, let's not cross paths at a mall. Pray. You're a ************. Light up your candles right now boy. **********." he added. "I can just stated one thing about Raymart and Claudine," Erwin said. "You know? You just got lucky my brother was alone at that time. If we got on the same flight and the fight happened, it wouldn't turn out that way.   I can only say one thing, Mr. Santiago... Both of you are big liars. Even if you ask anybody, my brother didn't throw the first punch." he stated.

The figure stands at 7 inches tall and is well proportioned. The figure also comes with a stand that has two different sized holes.

Local News: Airport Celebrity Fistfight

SUNDAY - GMA Actor Raymart Santiago, together with his celebrity wife, Claudine Baretto was involved a fistfight with Columnist Ramon Tulfo last Sunday.

Raymart and his family landed at NAIA 3, finishing their vacation, when Claudine made her emotions explode towards a Cebu Pacific Attendant regarding their lost luggage. Their group had 3 families, and two of those family's luggage were missing. Mon Tulfo came in the scene, being a columnist, he took pictures of Claudine shouting at the Attendant.

Then, Raymart, walked towards the columnist asking for his cellphone and delete the pictures immediately. "Sir, what are you doing?" Raymart asked. "Then, after asking, he kicked me." he added.

But there's another story on the columnist's side. Mon Tulfo said he was attacked by Raymart's friend on his blind side and it sparked the fistfight. "I saw a woman in the airport, shouting at an attendant. I approached the group and realized that it was Claudine Baretto. But she clearly went overboard with her words. The attendant was on the verge of crying." Mon Tulfo said. Then he took out his cellphone and took pictures of the scene. Then, somebody approached him and tried to get his cellphone and it started the fight.

"But, I was not the one who punched first. They are the ones who started it. First of all, I wasn't their enemy." Tulfo added.

"I shouted, why did you punch him?" Baretto said. Claudine then explained to the media that she was kicked two times, and was pushed to the counter.

The media still does not know what really happened, as the Cebu Pacific CCTV video is not yet available.

Manga Review: Mahou Sensei Negima! (SPOILER ALERT!)

A MAGICAL WORLD FILLED WITH BOOBS, PANTIES AND ACTION!

Hahaha! Well, here's something different. Created by Japan's Ken Akamatsu, you would expect something epic. And I was right. I bought this manga and I was completely caught in the action. The Manga's genre is Harem, Ecchi, School life, Fantasy and Adventure. It has 38 volumes, Volume 0 not counted.

Sometimes, they include goods such as stickers and real cards called Pactio! Unfortunately, the author had to end it quickly at 38. By the way, I won't be telling you all the characters' names.

Overview:

Since this is a Harem Ecchi Manga, you would be able to see girls clothed or naked. Uh, not really naked, of course it's censored. If this was produced uncensored, Akamatsu-sensei would probably be in jail right now. Hahaha! Why? Japan prohibits showing reproductive organs. Volume 1 to 2 shows the School Life part. Adventure and Fantasy will enter volume 3 and onwards, as it will be filled by vampires, magic, the magic world, super humans, demons and other fantasy things. Final Fantasy Tactics Advance came to my mind. The Romance in this manga was toned down, due to the fact that the male protagonist is a child.
